Mixed Cellularity Hodgkin Lymphoma (MCHL) is a subtype of Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system. It is characterized by the presence of a diverse mix of cell types, including Reed-Sternberg cells, which are a hallmark of Hodgkin lymphoma. This subtype is more common in older adults and often presents with symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes, fever, night sweats, and weight loss.
