measures testosterone levels in the blood
Serum testosterone refers to the measurement of testosterone levels in the blood. This test, often called a Testosterone Blood Test or Total Testosterone (TT), is used to assess hormonal balance, diagnose conditions like hypogonadism or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and evaluate issues related to sexual development, fertility, and certain types of hair loss such as androgenetic alopecia.
