autoimmune disease causing skin rashes and lesions

Cutaneous Lupus Erythematosus (CLE) is a form of lupus that primarily affects the skin, causing rashes, lesions, and other dermatological symptoms. It can manifest in various forms, such as discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) which leads to scarring, or subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus (SCLE) which typically results in non-scarring lesions. While CLE can be a standalone condition, it may also occur in conjunction with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), which affects multiple organs.

Combining PPAR-GAMMA agonists with retinoids could improve treatments for conditions like Lichen Planopilaris.
