5 / 1000+ resultsresearch DNA methylation of microRNA-365-1 induces apoptosis of hair follicle stem cells by targeting DAP3
This study investigates the role of DNA methylation in chemotherapeutic alopecia using a mouse model induced by cyclophosphamide (CTX). It was found that DNA methylation of microRNA-365-1 (miR-365-1) plays a significant role in the apoptosis of hair follicle stem cells by targeting the DAP3 gene. The study demonstrated that hypermethylation of miR-365-1 leads to increased apoptosis in hair follicle stem cells, as evidenced by reduced expression of hair follicle stem cell markers and increased apoptotic markers. Overexpression of miR-365-1 reduced apoptosis, but this effect was partially reversed by overexpressing DAP3. These findings highlight the importance of miR-365-1 methylation in the regulation of hair follicle stem cell apoptosis during chemotherapeutic alopecia.
research 496 Identification of differentially expressed miRNAs in alopecia areata that target immune-regulatory pathways
Researchers found that certain miRNAs, which affect immune system regulation, are differently expressed in mice with a hair loss condition compared to healthy mice.
research MicroRNA in skin diseases
Certain microRNAs are linked to various skin diseases and could be used to diagnose and treat these conditions.
research LncRNA-599547 contributes the inductive property of dermal papilla cells in cashmere goat through miR-15b-5p/Wnt10b axis
A specific RNA in cashmere goats helps improve hair growth by interacting with certain molecules.

miR-205, a tiny RNA, can stimulate hair growth by softening aging hair follicle stem cells in mice. Future tests aim to see if this can work in humans.
community Is this regrowth? My doctor took these photos and said I looked better.
The conversation humorously discusses an extensive and exaggerated hair loss treatment regimen, including finasteride, dutasteride, minoxidil, pyrilutamide, RU58841, and various other therapies. Despite the numerous treatments, the effectiveness is questioned, and the user humorously considers adding more minoxidil.
community Hair repigmentation of poliosis circumscripta in androgenetic alopecia patient treated with exosomes and fractional picosecond laser
Exosomes combined with fractional picosecond laser treatment were effective in treating androgenetic alopecia and promoting repigmentation in white hair patches. The role of exosomes in hair repigmentation, particularly in conditions like poliosis, is not well-studied.
community My progress with various products and without oral fin or oral dut on 17 months
The user shared their hair loss treatment progress using topical products like exosomes, fluridil, Kx826, and topical dutasteride, avoiding oral finasteride and dutasteride due to side effects. They found exosomes from Creative Biolabs most effective and also used topical probiotics, noting improvements without significant side effects.
community Exosomes - do they work as results look promising?
Exosomes are being considered for hair regrowth, with some users reporting initial improvement. One user moved on to using dutasteride and oral minoxidil with positive results.
