research Skin Improvement Efficacy of Microspicule Cosmetics Containing Low-Molecular-Weight Peptide Complexes
The study investigated the skin improvement efficacy of microspicule cosmetics containing low-molecular-weight peptide complexes. An in vitro test showed excellent cell viability and a 23.62% inhibition rate of melanogenesis at 0.1% concentration. A human application test on 20 adults aged 30–59 over 4 weeks revealed significant improvements in skin whitening, pore improvement, and skin barrier enhancement, with the experimental group showing superior results compared to the comparison group. The findings suggest that microspicules enhance the transdermal absorption of active ingredients, strengthening the skin barrier and providing a basis for optimizing spicule purification techniques and cosmetic formulations for skin safety and efficacy.
