Orthokeratotic Hyperkeratosis is a skin condition characterized by an excessive buildup of the outer layer of the skin, known as the stratum corneum, without the presence of nuclei in the keratinocytes. This results in thickened, often scaly skin. For professionals, it is important to note that this condition can be distinguished from parakeratotic hyperkeratosis, where nuclei are retained in the stratum corneum.
