A 15-year-old male with AAU showed significant hair regrowth after 8 months of combination therapy, which included pulse-dose oral antivirus, inosine pranobex, topical corticosteroid and minoxidil, intralesional steroid injection, and LED therapy. The treatment was deemed safe and effective, with viral infection considered a potential trigger for AAU. Comprehensive and potentially long-term combination therapy was necessary for managing AAU.
