abnormal growths or formations of blood vessels

Vascular lesions, also known as vascular abnormalities or blood vessel lesions, are abnormal growths or formations of blood vessels that can occur anywhere in the body. These lesions can be congenital (present at birth) or acquired and may manifest as benign conditions like hemangiomas or more complex issues such as arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). They can affect the skin, internal organs, or other tissues, and their treatment varies depending on their type, location, and severity.
