2 Cases of Alopecia areata treated with Korean Medicine

    TLDR Korean medicine improved alopecia areata symptoms.
    This study investigated the effects of Korean medical therapy on 2 patients with alopecia areata. The treatment included internal herbal medicine administered twice daily, acupuncture therapy, and Hwangryunhaedok-tang herbal-acupuncture therapy over a period of 3 to 4 months. The results indicated a remarkable improvement in the symptoms of alopecia areata, suggesting that Korean medical treatment was effective for this condition.
