These bio-printed fillers use living cells and safe biomaterials, such as fibroblasts and keratinocytes, to create structures resembling natural skin, which not only restore volume but also regenerate tissues and improve skin function. This advancement has significant applications in anti-aging, scar repair, wound healing, and soft tissue reconstruction. Despite challenges like high costs and regulatory hurdles, ongoing research is advancing these technologies towards clinical use, marking a shift from temporary cosmetic solutions to living, regenerative treatments.
