The study developed a novel aloe polysaccharide-collagen wound dressing (AP-CD) that demonstrated superior physical and chemical properties, good biocompatibility, and safety. In vivo studies showed that AP-CD effectively accelerated wound healing by suppressing inflammatory responses, promoting angiogenesis, and modulating immune cell proportions, including increasing macrophages and T lymphocytes while decreasing fibroblasts. These findings suggest that AP-CD is a viable option for enhancing wound healing.
