TLDR Lifestyle factors like frequent shampooing and mental labor are linked to androgenetic alopecia.
The study investigated the correlational factors and Traditional Chinese Medicine constitution in androgenetic alopecia (AGA) by analyzing 76 patients with AGA and 72 controls. It found that frequent shampooing, high fat consumption, life-work pressure, and mental labor were risk factors, while adequate sleep and life satisfaction were protective factors. The study also noted that the "gentleness" type was the most common constitution in both groups, with no significant difference between them. Male sex was linked to AGA incidence, and the study concluded that lifestyle factors like shampooing frequency and mental labor were associated with AGA.
