    The Polish Dermatological Society has provided diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations for androgenetic alopecia, the most common cause of hair loss in both men and women. Trichoscopy is the basic diagnostic procedure, and minoxidil and finasteride are the two drugs approved for treatment. However, there are significantly more therapeutic options available, and the article presents algorithms recommended for the management of androgenetic alopecia in women and men.
