This study evaluated the efficacy of automated microneedling therapy in managing facial scars in 18 patients with various scar etiologies. Over four treatment sessions, significant improvements in scar size and vascularity were observed, particularly between the second and third sessions, with statistical significance (p < 0.0001). At 6-month follow-up, mean scar size and vascularity scores improved notably. Patient satisfaction was high, with 66.66% reporting good to excellent improvement. Complications were minimal, primarily transient erythema. The study concludes that automated microneedling is a safe and effective treatment for facial scars, with enhanced outcomes from early and multiple sessions.
