The pilot study investigated the effectiveness of Asthiposhtika Vati, an Ayurvedic treatment, on 15 patients with clinically proven osteoporosis. Osteoporosis, often undetected until fractures occur, is linked to the Ayurvedic concept of Asthikshaya, which involves the weakening of bone tissue. The study used Ayurvedic parameters to assess treatment effectiveness and employed statistical analysis with the t-test. The results were promising, suggesting that Asthiposhtika Vati is effective in managing osteoporosis, offering a potential therapeutic option for this condition.
