Ayurvedic Therapeutic Interventions in a Case of Indralupta (Alopecia Areata)

    TLDR Ayurvedic treatments significantly improved hair regrowth in a woman with alopecia areata.
    A 32-year-old female with a bald patch diagnosed as Indralupta (Alopecia Areata) was treated using Ayurvedic therapies, including Vamana, Jalaukavacharana, Nasya with Anu Taila, and internal medications like Brahmi Vati, Amalaki Rasayana, and Gandhaka Rasayana. Neelibhringadi Taila was used topically, alongside dietary and lifestyle changes. Over two months, significant hair regrowth and patch size reduction were observed, with near-complete restoration and no adverse effects, highlighting the potential effectiveness of Ayurvedic treatments for this condition.
