Bilateral Circumscribed Hemangioma of the Choroid Not Associated with Systemic Vascular Syndrome

This document reported a rare case of bilateral circumscribed choroidal haemangiomas (CCH) in an 81-year-old man, which was not associated with any systemic vascular syndrome, such as Sturge-Weber or Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber syndromes. Typically, CCH is a congenital, vascular hamartoma that appears as a unilateral lesion and can be mistaken for other ocular conditions. The patient's condition was unique as bilateral CCHs are extremely uncommon without systemic vascular abnormalities. The case highlighted the importance of differential diagnosis using techniques like fluorescein angiography and ultrasonography to distinguish CCH from other similar ocular conditions.
