    Biomimetic peptides have emerged as promising synthetic molecules in the treatment of alopecias, which affect millions globally. These peptides mimic natural biological functions, aiding in cell signaling, follicular proliferation, and tissue regeneration. Studies indicate that they can modulate growth factors, stimulate the dermal papilla, promote perifollicular angiogenesis, and extend the anagen phase of hair growth, potentially improving hair density and thickness. However, while they represent a promising therapeutic alternative in trichology, further robust clinical studies are necessary to confirm their efficacy in clinical practice.
