    This report presents two cases where alopecia areata was observed following odontogenic infections, suggesting a potential but unclear link between dental infections and hair loss. Despite the established causes of alopecia areata, the possibility of it being triggered by a tooth infection remains a mystery, highlighting the need for further research in this area.
