Effect of Cannabis Use on Alopecia Areata

    This document presented a case report of a 15-year-old girl with alopecia universalis who experienced hair regrowth on her scalp after self-medicating with cannabis for over a year. The study suggested that endocannabinoids could be a potential treatment for autoimmune diseases like alopecia areata, although research on cannabis's effects on AA was limited. The case highlighted the need for further investigation into cannabis as a treatment option for autoimmune conditions.
