A one-year-old male husky with demodicosis caused by Demodex canis was successfully treated using a combination of therapies, including the oral antiparasitic drug Nexgard® at 2.5 mg/kg BW once monthly. The dog also received Meloxicam, Anistamin, Nepocef®-CV, Cetirizine, and Sardine oil, along with topical antibiotics and shampoo. After 2 weeks, the dog's condition improved, with reduced scratching and erythema. Nexgard® is recommended for canine demodicosis, and multivitamins and hair supplements are suggested as supportive therapy.
