This narrative review highlights the importance of culturally sensitive dermatologic care for Muslim patients, emphasizing the need for clinicians to understand religious and cultural practices that influence health and treatment preferences. Key topics include views on contraception, modesty, divine will, and traditional medicines, as well as considerations for medications containing animal products and fasting during Ramadan. The review also identifies dermatoses linked to religious practices and recommends clinical practices that respect patients' privacy, dignity, and spiritual values. By enhancing awareness of these factors, dermatologists can improve diagnostic accuracy, foster trust, and provide more effective, patient-centered care.
