Frequency of Dyslipidemia in Male Patients With Androgenetic Alopecia

    The study investigated the frequency of dyslipidemia in 150 male patients with androgenetic alopecia (AGA) and found that 62.7% of these individuals had abnormal blood lipid levels. The mean age of participants was 35 years, and their lipid profiles showed elevated cholesterol, triglycerides, and LDL-C, with a mean HDL-C of 55.94. The findings suggest that assessing lipid levels in men with AGA is important for early detection of cardiovascular and metabolic risks, potentially improving health outcomes.
