TLDR Nandrolone phenylpropionate injections thickened the skin and enlarged oil glands in female hairless hamsters.
Single intracutaneous injections of micronized crystalline suspensions of nandrolone phenylpropionate in female hairless hamsters induced local thickening of the epidermis and a significant increase in sebaceous gland volume over 7 days. This response was specific to nandrolone phenylpropionate and not due to a general inflammatory reaction in the dermis.
