Pilot Evaluation of the Efficacy and Safety of Xtressé Gummy-Based Nutraceutical Supplement in Women with Hair Loss

The pilot study evaluated the safety and efficacy of Xtressé™, a gummy-based nutraceutical supplement, in 24 women with hair thinning. Over four months, 17 participants completed the study, with 81.8% of those with non-scarring alopecia showing increased hair density and 63.6% demonstrating improved scalp coverage. In contrast, only 16.7% of participants with scarring alopecia showed improvement in scarred areas, though 66.7% showed improvement in non-scarred areas. No adverse events were reported. The study concludes that Xtressé™ is safe and may improve hair parameters in women with non-scarring alopecia, suggesting the need for larger, controlled trials.
