Effects of Electro-Phototherapy Combined with Aromatherapy on Male Androgenetic Alopecia

    The study investigated the effects of electrotherapy combined with aromatherapy on male androgenetic alopecia. Conducted from August to October 2018, it involved 5 men with an average age of 29.8 years. The treatment protocol included high-frequency therapy, red laser application, and a blend of essential and vegetable oils. Results showed a 60% increase in hair shaft thickness without changes to the scalp, and participants reported satisfaction with the treatment. Dermatologists' evaluations showed a Kappa agreement level of 0.62, indicating a statistically significant improvement in hair condition.
