Este estudo revisou a literatura sobre o tratamento da alopecia androgenética masculina usando microagulhamento combinado com óleos essenciais. O microagulhamento estimula fatores de crescimento e ativa células-tronco, promovendo o crescimento capilar, enquanto óleos essenciais como melaleuca, lavanda, alecrim e hortelã-pimenta têm propriedades que equilibram o couro cabeludo e estimulam o ciclo capilar. A combinação dos dois métodos melhora a absorção cutânea e amplifica os efeitos terapêuticos, sendo uma abordagem promissora, segura e de baixo custo. No entanto, são necessários estudos clínicos controlados para validação científica e definição de protocolos padronizados.
