TLDR Green OLED light improves stem cell effectiveness for better wound healing.
The study investigated the effects of green OLED irradiation on human adipose-derived stem cells (hADSCs) to enhance their therapeutic efficacy for wound healing. It was found that green OLED light activated OPN4 in hADSCs, leading to increased cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and growth factor expression. The conditioned medium from irradiated hADSCs promoted the proliferation of human dermal fibroblasts and keratinocytes. In vivo tests in mouse models showed that irradiated hADSCs improved wound healing more effectively than non-irradiated cells. The study concluded that green OLED irradiation could enhance the wound healing capabilities of hADSCs, indicating potential preclinical applications for regenerative medicine.
