TLDR Laser treatment can improve the delivery of hair loss drugs into the skin and hair follicles.
The study investigated the effects of Erbium:YAG laser irradiation on the skin permeation and follicular delivery of anti-alopecia drugs. The findings suggested that the laser treatment improved the delivery of these drugs through the skin and into hair follicles, potentially enhancing their effectiveness in treating hair loss. This research provided insights into a novel method for improving the administration of treatments for alopecia.
