This case report examines the effects of palash basti, an Ayurvedic treatment, on a 26-year-old woman with polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS). Over a 3-month period, the treatment led to significant improvements, including regularization of her menstrual cycle to 28-32 days, increased menstrual flow, reduced acne and hirsutism, weight loss from 72 kg to 68 kg, and improved hormonal parameters such as the LH/FSH ratio. The patient also reported enhanced energy levels and psychological well-being, with no adverse effects. The findings suggest that palash basti may effectively manage PMOS by balancing dosha and regulating neuroendocrine functions, although further studies are needed to confirm these results.
