    An ethnobotanical survey conducted among the Malayali tribes of Kolli Hills, Tamil Nadu, India, documented the traditional use of 60 medicinal plant species for treating various ailments, including hair growth. The study highlighted the crucial role these plants played in the healthcare of the tribal community and emphasized the importance of preserving this traditional knowledge, which was primarily held by the elder generation. The research underscored the need for further scientific validation of these traditional practices to ensure their efficacy and continued relevance.
