Enhancing Facial Skin Rejuvenation: A Clinical Evaluation of 4 MHz Monopolar Radiofrequency in Reducing Facial Wrinkles

    A study involving 62 patients with facial skin aging evaluated the effectiveness and safety of 4 MHz monopolar radiofrequency treatment for reducing facial wrinkles. Results showed that 90 days post-treatment, 41 patients experienced significant improvement, with an overall clinical effectiveness rate of 93.55%. Fitzpatrick facial wrinkle grading indicated significant improvements, with 15 patients at Grade I, 28 at Grade II, and 19 at Grade III after treatment. Adverse reactions were mild, including erythema and edema, with no severe complications reported. The study concludes that monopolar radiofrequency is a safe and effective method for facial rejuvenation with minimal adverse effects.
