TLDR People with keratosis pilaris might be more likely to get a rare type of tinea versicolor.
Follicular tinea versicolor is an uncommon variant of tinea versicolor, and its exact cause remains unclear. The case report suggests a potential link between a history of keratosis pilaris and the development of follicular centration in other diseases, indicating that individuals with keratosis pilaris might be predisposed to this rare form of tinea versicolor.
