Formulation and Evaluation of Herbal Hair Growth Serum Containing Rosemary Extract

The study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a herbal hair growth serum containing rosemary extract, aimed at addressing hair loss and thinning issues such as androgenetic alopecia. The serum combines ethanolic rosemary extract with fenugreek seed extract, aloe vera gel, glycerine, vitamin E, and parabens. It targets hair loss through mechanisms like 5-alpha reductase inhibition and antioxidant protection. The serum was tested for various physicochemical properties, including appearance, pH, viscosity, spreadability, and homogeneity, all of which met the predefined criteria. The results suggest that the rosemary-fenugreek serum is a stable and scalp-compatible cosmeceutical candidate for promoting scalp health and managing hair loss.
