TLDR Gujian oral liquid reduces osteoarthritis symptoms by targeting inflammation.
The study investigated the effects of Gujian Oral Liquid (GJ) on osteoarthritis (OA) using network pharmacology, molecular docking, and experiments with 30 mice. It found that GJ could improve OA symptoms by targeting inflammation pathways, particularly the TNF-α/NF-κB signaling pathway. Key bioactive compounds like quercetin and kaempferol showed high binding affinity with inflammation-related targets such as IL6 and AKT1. Experiments indicated that GJ reduced cartilage degradation and inhibited inflammatory markers in chondrocytes, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic agent for OA. However, the study noted limitations, including incomplete data on herbal compounds and the need for further research on other signaling pathways.
