TLDR Doxazosin may cause breast enlargement and pain in men.
Doxazosin, an adrenergic alpha-1 receptor antagonist commonly used for prostatic hyperplasia, was reported to cause unilateral gynecomastia and mastodynia in a 78-year-old man in Korea. This was the first case reported in Korea, as such side effects were previously unreported for this medication in the country. The symptoms significantly improved five months after discontinuing doxazosin.
