TLDR Many college students experience mild hair loss, influenced by factors like gender, family history, and lifestyle, suggesting a need for health education.
A study involving 3,052 undergraduate students from 20 provinces found that 39.2% reported experiencing hair loss, predominantly mild. Significant risk factors identified included being female, having a family history of hair loss, scalp itching, oily hair, sleep disorders, and depression.
