The study focused on creating and evaluating a herbal mehendi gel for sustainable hair coloring and scalp care using natural ingredients like henna, amla, bhringraj, aloe vera, and neem. The gel, formulated with Carbopol 940 and other compounds, aimed to offer natural hair coloring while nourishing and protecting the scalp and hair follicles. It was tested for various parameters, showing good consistency, texture, spreadability, washability, and a suitable pH for scalp application. No skin irritation was observed, indicating its safety. The herbal ingredients provided benefits such as natural coloring, scalp conditioning, antimicrobial activity, antioxidant effects, and hair strengthening.
