Formulation And Evaluation Of Herbal Serum For Hair Growth

The study focuses on developing a water-based herbal gel serum for hair growth, addressing issues with existing synthetic and oil-based products. The serum includes hibiscus, amla, green tea, and linseed gel, which are rich in antioxidants and other beneficial compounds. Three formulations were tested, with F3 showing the best properties in terms of gelling, viscosity, and stability. The formulation remained stable under various conditions and demonstrated significant antimicrobial activity with a 19.32 mm zone of inhibition. The study concludes that this herbal serum is a safe, stable, and cost-effective alternative to synthetic hair care products.
