Treatments included oral contraceptives (33.3%), dexamethasone (30.4%), and metformin (28.1%), with various hair removal methods also employed. The study emphasizes the need for a holistic approach, incorporating lifestyle changes and mental health support, alongside medical and physical treatments. Early intervention and regular monitoring are crucial for preventing progression and providing relief, with ongoing research promising more effective, personalized therapies in the future.
