TLDR Homoeopathic treatment using Opium helped regrow beard hair by addressing mental symptoms.
This case report discusses the individualized homoeopathic management of a 24-year-old male with alopecia barbae, a localized autoimmune condition causing hair loss in the beard region. The patient initially ignored the hair loss but later developed fear as the patch enlarged. The homoeopathic remedy Opium was selected based on the patient's mental symptoms, specifically his initial indifference followed by exaggerated fear. After treatment with Opium 200, the lesion stabilized, and hair regrowth was observed. This case underscores the importance of considering mental symptoms in homoeopathic treatment and suggests further research into homoeopathy's role in managing such conditions.
