Homeopathic Management of Alopecia Areata Barbae With Kali Carbonicum: A Case Report

This case report details the successful homoeopathic treatment of a 30-year-old male with alopecia areata barbae using Kali carbonicum. The patient, experiencing anxiety and other symptoms, was treated with Kali carbonicum in 1M potency, followed by a placebo. Over three months, the patient showed reduced anxiety, halted lesion progression, and complete regrowth of hair without relapse. The report suggests that individualized homoeopathic treatment could be beneficial for alopecia areata barbae and warrants further investigation through controlled studies.
