Formulation and Evaluation of Licorice Shampoo Compared to Commercial Shampoo

The study formulated a licorice shampoo and compared it with a commercial shampoo through various physicochemical tests and consumer evaluations. The licorice shampoo demonstrated excellent cleansing ability, acceptable clarity, viscosity, and similar foaming volume and wetting time to the commercial shampoo. It was free from microbial contamination and received positive feedback from consumers, who reported it helped with hair and scalp problems. Although the results were promising, further research was needed to confirm the potential benefits of licorice shampoo in treating hair diseases.
