TLDR Lifestyle changes can help manage androgenetic alopecia.
This literature review explores the influence of lifestyle factors on the pathogenesis of androgenetic alopecia (AGA), a condition that affects social interactions and psychological well-being. The review highlights the importance of lifestyle interventions in the long-term management of AGA, given the challenges in adhering to treatment. It examines how dietary habits, sleep patterns, ultraviolet radiation, exercise, and hairstyles may contribute to or worsen AGA, and discusses the potential pathogenic mechanisms involved. Despite the significance of these factors, the review notes that research on their impact is limited and fragmented.
