    The review discussed the potential of lipid-based drug delivery systems in regenerative medicine, emphasizing their ability to enhance tissue repair and regeneration. These systems, such as liposomes and dendrimers, protected therapeutic proteins and peptides from degradation and provided controlled delivery, improving cell survival, differentiation, and engraftment. Challenges in regenerative therapies, particularly in older patients or those with conditions like diabetes, were noted, with nanotechnology offering solutions through sustained, controlled release of therapeutic agents. Various studies demonstrated promising results, such as improved wound healing and reduced inflammation, highlighting the significant role of lipid nano-formulations in tissue repair. Despite their potential, challenges in industrial production of liposomal formulations remained. The authors concluded that combining lipid-based delivery systems with cell-based therapies could improve regeneration outcomes, suggesting a collaborative approach for future advancements in the field.
