Targeted Follicular Delivery Via Liposomal Encapsulation of Sesbania Grandiflora Enhances Hair and Scalp Health: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Clinical Study

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving adults aged 25-45 years with hair loss evaluated the effects of a liposomal-encapsulated Sesbania grandiflora formulation on hair and scalp health over 180 days. The study found that the formulation significantly improved hair density, thickness, growth rate, length, anagen hair percentage, keratin levels, and tensile strength, while reducing hair fall, compared to placebo. The product, named SesZenBio™, was well tolerated, with no adverse events linked to its use, suggesting its potential as an effective plant-based treatment for enhancing hair and scalp health.
