Targeted Follicular Delivery via Liposomal Encapsulation of Sesbania Grandiflora Enhances Hair and Scalp Health: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Clinical Study

This study evaluated the effects of a liposomal-encapsulated Sesbania grandiflora formulation on hair and scalp health in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving adults aged 25–45 years with hair loss over 180 days. The group receiving the Sesbania grandiflora formulation showed significant improvements in hair density, thickness, growth rate, length, anagen-telogen ratio, keratin levels, and tensile strength compared to the placebo group. Hair fall was reduced, and hair regrowth was enhanced. The formulation, known as SesZenBio™, was well tolerated with no adverse events related to the product, suggesting its potential as an effective plant-based treatment for improving hair health.
