TLDR SesZen-Bio™ may be a promising and safer option for promoting hair growth.
The study explores the effects of SesZen-Bio™, an extract from Sesbania grandiflora leaves, on hair growth and follicular regeneration. It was found to significantly enhance the proliferation of Outer Root Sheath Cells (ORSCs) and Dermal Papilla Cells (DPCs), increase ATP production, and activate the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, which is crucial for hair follicle development. The extract also promoted stem cell proliferation and differentiation in ORSCs. In an ex vivo model, SesZen-Bio™ increased hair shaft length more effectively than minoxidil. These results suggest that SesZen-Bio™ could be a promising and potentially safer alternative for hair growth treatments.
