The document reviews six methods for cultivating artificial hair follicles using 3D bioprinting technology, addressing the issue of insufficient donor hair follicles for transplant surgery. Despite their potential, these methods face challenges such as complexity, low yield of hair follicles, and pending approval for human trials.
