The Effect of Hair Tonic from Secretome Mesenchymal Stem Cell on Hair Growth in Hair Loss Cases

    This study investigated the effect of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) secretome in hair tonic formulations on hair growth in 20 individuals with alopecia over eight weeks. Five groups tested different concentrations of MSC secretome (5%, 7%, 10%), with controls using fetal bovine serum and a base without MSC. Results showed that the 10% MSC secretome formulation significantly increased hair density, correlating with higher levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), which stimulates hair follicle activity. The study concludes that a 10% MSC secretome concentration is optimal for promoting hair regeneration in alopecia cases.
